- Gaps. A state we have not covered, or a question our guides do not answer.

What we cannot help with
We want to be straight about this, because the alternative is you waiting on an answer we are never going to be able to give.
We cannot tell you whether your specific job needs a licence. That depends on the work, its value, your state, and sometimes your county — and getting it wrong has legal consequences. Your state licensing board will answer that question, and they answer it for free.
We cannot give legal advice. We are not attorneys.
We cannot quote or sell insurance. We are not a broker or an agency. We can explain what a coverage type does; we cannot tell you what you will pay or arrange a policy.
We cannot intervene with a licensing board — chase an application, appeal a decision, or contact them on your behalf.
